Two armed suspects approached a pair of armored car guards making a delivery to a Bank of America branch in Queens. The suspects disarmed the guards and stole approximately $540,000 in cash before making their escape.
An attempted armored car robbery occurred outside of a Blue Island bank. Several shots were fired but no injuries were reported. One of the suspects dropped a firearm during the escape.
Two-armed suspects ambushed a guard while servicing an ATM outside of a Kroeger and escaped with several cassettes containing an undisclosed sum of stolen cash. No injuries were reported.
An unidentified suspect approached an armored car guard outside of a southwest-side bank. Armed with a handgun, the suspect first demanded cash before suddenly firing shots into both guard’s legs, causing critical injuries. The suspect then fled the scene.
