Two armed suspects ambushed an armored car guard outside of a Philadelphia-area Home Depot. The suspects were able to disarm the guard and escaped with at least $1.5 million in stolen cash.
Two suspects, Pablo Larroig and Jeson Florez, are among seven defendants now facing charges in connection with a 2022 robbery of over $100 million in jewelry. The suspects ambushed an armored car at a rest stop north of Los Angeles in the early morning hours of July 11, 2022, gaining access to the vehicle and stealing 24 bags of high value jewelry, but did not brandish weapons or make contact with the guard.
On July 13, 2023, Damien Huff murdered armored car guard Scott Bee during a robbery in Milwaukee, WI, one of a string of robberies carried out alongside partner Colby Logan. Huff was found guilty of all charges in April and, on June 13, was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Two armed suspects approached a pair of armored car guards making a delivery to a Bank of America branch in Queens. The suspects disarmed the guards and stole approximately $540,000 in cash before making their escape.
Three suspects confronted an armored car guard returning from a cash pickup. One suspect disarmed the guard and stole the cash bag that was being carried, with the others attempted, unsuccessfully, to gain access to the armored vehicle which was occupied by the guard’s partner. The suspect with the cash bag then fled the scene in their getaway vehicle alone, leaving his accomplices to escape on foot.
An armored car crew was servicing a Houston area ATM when two armed suspects approached them and stole several empty canisters. The suspects’ vehicles were spotted nearby, and they were taken into custody by police soon after.
