An armed suspect ambushed an armored car guard during an ATM service at a Conroe area bank. The assailant shot the guard before fleeing the scene but was later stopped by police, resulting in a chase. The suspect was ultimately stopped and, after refusing police commands, shot himself, resulting in his death.

Three suspects pepper-sprayed an armored car guard outside of a credit union and fled the scene with an undisclosed sum of stolen cash. The suspects switched vehicles during their escape but were witnessed and located by police. All three suspects were apprehended and charged.

An armed suspect forced the driver of an armored car into the vehicle at gunpoint and stole and undisclosed sum of cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Police quickly identified the vehicle and pursued the suspect in a high-speed chase which ended in North Olmstead. The suspect then fled on foot to a nearby apartment building where he attempted to take a family hostage, forcing a woman and her for children inside at gunpoint; however, a pursuing officer shot and fatally wounded the suspect before he was able to harm anyone.
