Perry Maple of Chicago was sentenced to 15 years in prison for robbing multiple armored trucks, ATM technicians, and banks throughout the city, often targeting CIT personnel while servicing ATMs. Maple worked along with 10 other co-defendants to steal at least $3.8 million. He was charged for a role in 11-armed robberies and pleaded guilty to federal charges of robbery and armed robbery.
David Ortiz pleaded guilty in Federal Court to charges associated with a June 2025 armed robbery in New York City. Ortiz and an accomplice brandished firearms during the heist outside of a Bank of America Branch, making off with over half-a-million dollars which has not been recovered to date.
31-year-old Jerronta Bryant of Capitol Heights, MD was arrested on June 17 in connection with the robbery of over $500k from an armored vehicle in Prince George’s County on November 5, 2025, in which the guard suffered minor injuries. Additional suspects are being sought by police.
Multiple armed suspects approached an armored car guard in the parking lot of an Alton-area Red Lobster and stole an undisclosed sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
