Two suspects, one armed with a rifle and the other with a handgun, ambushed an armored car guard who was making a delivery to an Elkins Park H-Mart. The suspect escaped with approximately $700,000 in stolen cash. Investigators believe that the theft may be connected to at least four other robberies in the area since June.
31-year-old Jerronta Bryant of Capitol Heights, MD was arrested on June 17 in connection with the robbery of over $500k from an armored vehicle in Prince George’s County on November 5, 2025, in which the guard suffered minor injuries. Additional suspects are being sought by police.
Multiple armed suspects approached an armored car guard in the parking lot of an Alton-area Red Lobster and stole an undisclosed sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
Deneyvous Hobson was sentenced to 308 months in federal prison and $166,640 in restitution payments in connection with an armored car robbery which occurred on February 14, 2022. Hobson and an accomplice, James Davies, attacked a guard at an ATM and stole the guard’s weapon along with $166,640 in cash.
